The Pilgrimage - Chapter 1 v2.10 Final
Tali's pilgrimage. Right. The thing they send quarians off to do so they can come back with something useful for the Flotilla. Only in this version, the something useful she finds is apparently a galaxy's worth of bad decisions and clothing that doesn't stay on. You know how these sandbox things go. One minute you're just clicking around some 3DCG hub area, the next you're watching an animated scene where Tali's suit is unsealed in ways that would give the Migrant Fleet's admiralty board a collective aneurysm. The character models are... uneven. Liara looks like she's been hitting the med-bay for some aggressive upgrades, all curves and no subtlety, while EDI somehow got even more distracting. Miranda's there too, because of course she is. The whole cast is basically a checklist of "what if we took the Normandy's crew manifest and ran it through a very specific filter."
Combat is a thing that happens. I think. There's some clicking, some monster encounters, but honestly it's just the filler between Tali finding new ways to corrupt herself. And corruption here doesn't mean renegade interrupts. It means Jedore, a name that sounds like a sneeze, showing up and things getting... tentacley. The anal scenes with Ashley made me laugh, not because they're bad, but because the animation has this specific jank where limbs just sort of teleport into position. Like the animator gave up halfway and said "close enough." Still watched it though. Twice. The sandbox structure means you're mostly wandering, triggering events, watching Tali's resistance crumble like a wet ration pack. There's a scene where she's just... exploring herself, and the game treats this with the same mechanical detachment as checking your inventory. Wish there was more actual Mass Effect lore woven in instead of just using the names like skins d*** over a generic porn framework. But then that's not really the point, is it. The point is watching Tali Zorah nar Rayya discover that her pilgrimage reward is apparently a complete moral and physical meltdown, one unskippable moan at a time.

The Pilgrimage
The Pilgrimage is a fucking mess and I can't stop thinking about it. That opening shot of Tali, mask off, eyes half-lidded... whoever did the CG work understood what we actually wanted from Mass Effect. Not grand speeches about the Migrant Fleet. Not calibrations. Just her. Vulnerable. Waiting. The art style is deliberately rough around the edges, like someone spilled their private sketchbook onto itch.io, and honestly that jank makes it hotter. You're not here for polish. You're here because you've had a thing for quarians since 2010 and BioWare never delivered.
The alien monster design is where things get properly unhinged. Tentacles. Lots of them. The kind that don't ask permission. There's a moment where she's pinned against what I think is supposed to be a console, and the anatomy of the creature doesn't quite make sense, limbs coming from angles that shouldn't exist, and that wrongness actually makes the whole scene more intense. Like a fever dream you don't want to wake up from. The visual novel format strips away any pretense of gameplay, it's just scene after scene of Tali getting absolutely wrecked by something that definitely isn't in the codex. One frame she's resisting, the next she's... not. The transition between those states happens too fast, honestly. I wish the corruption arc had more beats. But the game is what it is and won't be changing.
The sound design is nonexistent. Literally. No music, no effects, just the quiet hum of your own degenerate thoughts. At first I thought my browser was broken, but no, it's a deliberate choice apparently. Or maybe the dev ran out of time during the jam. Either way, the silence makes every wet squelch your brain fills in feel louder. There's a CG near the end where she's looking back at you, mask cracked, and something about her expression made me close the tab then immediately reopen it. You know that feeling when you find exactly the specific thing you were looking for but also kind of hate yourself for looking? This game is that feeling. The monster's final form is ridiculous. Completely impractical. I love it.

The Pilgrimage - Chapter 2 v0.4 Beta
I don't know what jedore means and at this point I'm too afraid to ask. The tag list looks like someone had a stroke while typing Mass Effect character names but whatever, I clicked because Tali. Always Tali. The quarian hips don't lie and neither does my search history.
This thing picks up right after the abandoned ship nonsense from the first chapter, which I barely remember because I was too busy figuring out the sandbox triggers. Now she's floating through space with "unexpected friends" which apparently means every female crewmate from the Normandy plus some monster appendages I didn't ask for. The corruption tag is doing heavy lifting here. Shiala shows up. Shiala! The green asari from Feros that everyone forgot existed. Someone on the dev team has a very specific folder on their hard drive and honestly, respect. The combat is... there. You click things. Enemies have health bars. Sometimes you win, sometimes the lose animation plays and that's clearly the point. The animated scenes are janky in that specific way where the loop almost syncs but doesn't quite, like a gif that's embarrassed of itself. Miranda's ass has its own gravitational field. I'm not complaining, I'm just observing physics.
The sandbox structure means you wander between dialogue trees hoping to trigger the next corruption stage. Liara gets teased. Samara gets... well, the anal sex tag isn't decorative. There's a monster scene that made me alt-tab even though nobody else was home. The female protagonist tag means you're playing as Tali watching everyone else get corrupted around her, which is a choice. I wish the masturbation scenes had more interaction but they won't patch that. The whole thing feels like someone's private mod collection escaped containment and learned just enough Unity to be playable. Ashley's in there too, looking nothing like herself, which is almost a metaphor.
