This thing picks up right after the abandoned ship nonsense from the first chapter, which I barely remember because I was too busy figuring out the sandbox triggers. Now she's floating through space with "unexpected friends" which apparently means every female crewmate from the Normandy plus some monster appendages I didn't ask for. The corruption tag is doing heavy lifting here. Shiala shows up. Shiala! The green asari from Feros that everyone forgot existed. Someone on the dev team has a very specific folder on their hard drive and honestly, respect. The combat is... there. You click things. Enemies have health bars. Sometimes you win, sometimes the lose animation plays and that's clearly the point. The animated scenes are janky in that specific way where the loop almost syncs but doesn't quite, like a gif that's embarrassed of itself. Miranda's ass has its own gravitational field. I'm not complaining, I'm just observing physics.

The sandbox structure means you wander between dialogue trees hoping to trigger the next corruption stage. Liara gets teased. Samara gets... well, the anal sex tag isn't decorative. There's a monster scene that made me alt-tab even though nobody else was home. The female protagonist tag means you're playing as Tali watching everyone else get corrupted around her, which is a choice. I wish the masturbation scenes had more interaction but they won't patch that. The whole thing feels like someone's private mod collection escaped containment and learned just enough Unity to be playable. Ashley's in there too, looking nothing like herself, which is almost a metaphor.
