Pussymon Episode 23 feels like that moment when your browser history finally looks exactly as cursed as your soul. You pop it open thinking “ok, more monster girls, I bonk a couple, collect a couple, same old,” and suddenly you’re knee-deep in a horny furry soap opera where everybody either wants to fight you, fuck you, or both in the same scene. It starts kind of harmless, you’re poking around these new areas with silly names, chasing weird creatures with big tits and bigger eyes, then out of nowhere the game hits you with plot. Like actual “wait, I need to read this dialog” plot. I was clicking through lines and then stopped because one of the companions dropped a lore bomb between two blowjob jokes and somehow it worked. I was half-laughing, half-confused and still hitting save like it was an important JRPG moment, except everyone is naked half the time and nobody is wearing sensible armor. Which is a shame. I like useless armor.

The vibe here is that old school silly RPG format where you move area to area, grind a bit, collect new pussymon, chat with the crew, then suddenly the screen fills with bouncing tits and tail fluff. Sometimes the game is horny in a really dumb way, like “haha this wolf girl only talks about her pussy, subtlety died long ago”, and sometimes it hits a kink that feels almost too specific, like the dev opened your secret folder on Mega. I did get a little annoyed at one tiny detail in the UI that kept shifting my attention at the wrong moment, right when the good part of an animation was looping, and now it lives rent free in my head because I never figured out why it bothered me so much. Anyway, if your idea of a “nice evening” is going on a dumb cute adventure, collecting sexy critters, getting teased by snarky monster girls and then having them ride you as a reward while you accidentally learn lore, this episode feels like exactly that messy, horny fever dream.

Episode 31 of Pussymon finally dropped and the first thing I notice is the boss fight. Not because it's hard, but because after you beat it, the game just... sits there. Three easter eggs hidden in area 06, each tied to a time of day. You can replay them once per day. Fine. But why make me wait for the clock to roll over just to see a scene I already unlocked? That's the kind of small thing that bugs me more than it should.

The new Pussymon count is seven, three of them being reworked leftovers from earlier episodes. Lizardish, Lepllanny, Valentina all get new scenes. The animations are smooth enough, 27 new ones with variations, and the text has over 350 lines added. The story finally gives some revelations near the end, which is nice because for a while it felt like the plot was just an excuse to walk around and trigger sex scenes. Not that I'm complaining about that part. The furry angle is strong here, and if you're into pussymon as a concept, you already know what you're getting. The quest structure is basic RPG stuff, explore, talk, fight, fuck. Nothing revolutionary.

One thing I keep thinking about is how the easter eggs are described as "a very enjoyable gift for our hero." Our hero. Like I'm supposed to feel bad for the guy. He's been collecting these creatures for 31 episodes now. At some point you'd think he'd learn to check behind the waterfall or whatever. But no, the eggs are just sitting there in area 06 after the boss. No puzzle, no hidden switch. Just... there. Maybe that's the joke. Maybe I'm overthinking a porn game. The cheat manager and bonus legendary scene are locked behind the Special Edition, which is annoying if you just want to see everything without grinding. But the base episode is free on Patreon, so whatever. The 2018 promises sound big, but I've heard that before.

Fucking interface changes, right? I'm supposed to be sorting cosplay contest entries but instead I'm clicking through Pussymon because the new item screen actually shows your shit now. Before it was just guesswork, now you can see your skills and how to unlock them. The whole progression got reworked, you don't need to hunt down some NPC to open new areas anymore. Just learn the skill and use it on the map. Simple. Wish my job worked like that.

The wild Pussymon are more aggressive now, they actually attack instead of just sitting there like idiots. Makes the grind a bit spicier. Ten new ones added, each with their own animated sexcard. The animations are deliberately rough, like someone drew them during a boring meeting, but that's the charm. It's not trying to be some polished AAA hentai thing. One of the new areas has this swamp vibe and the Pussymon there, this slime creature, the card involves tentacles and I won't lie, I had to minimize the window when my boss walked by. The sound design is nonexistent though, just silence, which is somehow more awkward than moaning would be.

Six new areas total, and the whole thing feels like a fever dream Pokemon romhack where everyone's horny and nothing makes sense. The furry tag is strong here, obviously, but it's not like, fursuit territory. More like if someone's fursona got digitized and then corrupted. I keep forgetting to mention the quest system, it's there but barely, just enough to push you toward the next Pussymon to catch. Or fuck. Whatever. The patreon link is plastered everywhere which is annoying but I get it, the dev's probably eating something worse than my sad desk salad. Still, the cheat codes are locked behind that paywall and I'm petty about it.

The Pussymon saga goes on and on and someday this thing just had to happen - the holiday season on earth of these sexy unshaved creatures has eventually come! And ofcourse you are welcomed to join their fun and joy in this new partly serious but mostly bash themed escapade. And just as normal this new story will have a lot of interesting moments and even some easter eggs as well because it will introduce some new gameplay mechanics at precisely the exact same time. For example from now on you will have to pay attention on which pussymon is good against which enemy and against whom it's chances for the winning are still pretty low. And as reward for mastering this new system you will get more of new pussymons, new scenes, new animated sexcards and areas to explore!

The elemental chart rework is actually insane. Nine types now, and I spent way too long just staring at the bag interface trying to memorize the new matchups. Fire beats... something. I keep getting it wrong. The old chart was simpler but this one makes battles feel less like rock paper scissors and more like actual strategy, especially with the new level and rank systems stacked on top.

Three levels and three ranks per Pussymon means the same creature you caught in area one can show up again later as a completely different beast. I found a low rank Flufftail early on and thought it was useless, then stumbled on a max rank one in one of the ten new areas and it nearly wiped my whole team. The hunt system makes backtracking actually worth it. You can name them now too, which is a small thing but calling my main fighter "Bastard" instead of its species name adds something.

The battle interface got a facelift and the fights are definitely harder. Potions work in and out of combat now, three types, and the "back to base" skill you get at level two saves so much walking. The save anywhere feature from the bag menu is a godsend because I kept losing progress before. Eleven new animations including an easter egg I haven't found yet, and apparently once you find it you can replay it whenever. The story moved forward a bit but honestly I was too busy catching the ten new Pussymon to pay attention. Sixty six total now and I still can't pick a favorite.

The rank system sometimes feels like it makes catching low level ones pointless unless you just want the animation. Which, fair. The animations are why we're here. Some of the new ones are... detailed. Very detailed. The easter egg hunt is driving me crazy though, I've clicked on everything in every new area and nothing. Maybe it's tied to a specific Pussymon interaction I haven't triggered yet. The Patreon probably has the answer but I'm stubborn.
