Naomi’s voice, man. It’s not loud. It’s this low, almost bored hum, like a fridge full of rotten honey. There’s this one scene early on, she’s just sitting on the edge of the bed, picking lint off her skirt, and she tells you to sleep on the floor. Doesn’t ask. Just states it. The screen gets this weird grey tint and the text crawls by slow, her words all... surgical. You click to agree because the other option is greyed out, and she gives this tiny, microscopic smile. Not a nice one. The kind a cat gives a half-dead mouse. Felt that right in the gut, that weird mix of panic and a boner you didn’t ask for. It’s all in the pauses, the way the dialogue box just hangs there, making you sit with the shit she just said.
The art is kinda jank, honestly. Proportions are off, sometimes the gothic background looks like a wet cardboard box. But then her eyes will track you, or the shadow on her collarbone will just be... perfect. And that contrast, the cheapness of it all, somehow makes the mind games hit harder. It’s like finding a really nasty note scribbled on a napkin, way more personal than some glossy render. The corruption isn’t a big dramatic thing, it’s just... her telling you your new haircut looks stupid, and you finding yourself agreeing. Then you’re paying for her date’s dinner while she sends you a pic of her foot on his lap under the table. No huge build up. Just a slide into the muck.
Wish the text speed wasn’t locked. Sometimes I’m just smashing the spacebar through her monologue about how my apartment smells, wanting the next bad thing to happen, and it’s like wading through cold soup. But then, maybe that’s the point. The game’s a slow drip of humiliation, not a flood. It’s this little broken gothic NTR toy that hates you, and you just keep clicking. Not sure if I like it, but I can’t say it’s boring. That’s something, right?
