The character creator is where I got stuck for like twenty minutes, not because it's deep but because the default name is so aggressively bland I had to change it. You get this whole backstory about being dealt a shit hand in life, now you're at some fancy academy where nobody knows you, blank slate, destiny in your hands, all that. Standard setup. But the game actually lets you be kind of a dick or a decent person and it tracks, which is more than I expected from something that looks like it was coded in a weekend by someone who just discovered RPG Maker.
