The whole thing looks like someone drew it on a napkin during a boring lecture and then scanned it at 150dpi. And honestly? That’s exactly why it works for me. Olivia’s kitchen has this weird beige wallpaper that keeps catching my eye, not because it’s detailed but because it’s so aggressively nothing. A blank space where better art should be. The daughters, Angel and Shannon, have faces that sort of slide around depending on the scene. Angel’s left eye migrates slightly in the hot tub CG and I couldn’t stop staring at it. Story kicks off with your dorm burning down. Classic. Dad ships you off to live with his friend Olivia and her two college age daughters. There’s a moment early on where Shannon “accidentally” walks in on you in the bathroom. The dialogue is this wooden back and forth where she’s supposedly embarrassed but her sprite just has this blank smile. It’s so awkward it circles back to being funny. The choices feel like they matter until you realize the plot is basically a straight line with different flavors of panty shot. You can be a creep or a slightly less obvious creep. The whole family setup, the “kinky situations” the description promises, it’s all very mechanical. One minute you’re talking about class schedules, next minute Angel is bent over a couch and the text box is describing her “forbidden fruit” with all the subtlety of a brick.

The CGs unlock in a gallery and half of them have this weird compression artifact thing going on. Like a jpeg that’s been emailed too many times. The mom has exactly one scene where she’s relevant and then the game forgets she exists. Typical. I kept clicking through waiting for some twist about the fire but no, it’s just a flimsy excuse to put a guy in a house with two horny cartoon women. There’s a scene where you’re studying with Shannon and the music loop is this tinny piano thing that cuts out abruptly when the lewd stuff starts. No fade, just silence then wet sounds. Made me laugh out loud.

For a visual novel that’s barely holding itself together visually, it has a strange confidence. It knows what you’re here for and doesn’t pretend otherwise. The English translation has these beautiful little errors, like a character saying “I am feeling very aroused by this situation” during what’s supposed to be passionate dirty talk. Poetry.
