Right in the first cg scene the elf chick's tits have this weird shimmer that makes them look like plastic wrap stretched over jello. not in a bad way exactly but i kept staring at it instead of reading the dialogue about realm convergence or whatever. the game clearly knows what it's doing with the hentai art though, those thick outlines and flushed skin tones hit different when the clothes start coming off.

the magic system is basically just a vehicle for getting characters naked which honestly i respect. you're this hero who's supposed to master something about five realms becoming six and there's elves everywhere with conveniently loose robes. the pacing feels like someone kept hitting fast forward during the worldbuilding parts but then suddenly we're in a 20 minute scene where an elf mage is explaining her entire backstory while slowly undressing. i made coffee during one of her monologues and when i came back she was still talking but now fully naked and the text was describing her "ancient lineage markings" which were just glowing tramp stamps. i'm not complaining.

the adventure tag is doing some heavy lifting here because most of the adventure is just clicking through dialogue trees that all lead to the same place. there's this one scene with a magic ritual that's supposed to be this huge turning point for the realms but the cg is just the elf bent over an altar with sparkles around her ass. the fantasy elements are there i guess, someone mentions destiny like forty times, but the game knows you're not here for the lore. the visual novel structure means you're just along for the ride and the ride has very specific destinations if you know what i mean. still trying to figure out what the sixth realm actually is because i was distracted by the elf's weird jello tits again.
