You know what gets me about corruption games? They promise this slow burn moral decay but mostly just speedrun to the messy bits. The Insexibles Chapter One tries something else. It wraps the whole thing in a weird little turn based combat sandbox that feels like someone smashed a bootleg Pokemon battle into a porn parody of that one comic universe with the flying guy and the metal skeleton dude. Not complaining. Actually I take that back, I am complaining about one thing but i'll get to it.

So you play this guy, right. Some labcoat nobody who's figured out how to build fight robots. And there's this dimension where superpowered people exist, you know the type, big tits, bigger ass, the whole cape spandex deal. Instead of just watching a visual novel tick along, you actually assemble your bot from parts and then go pick fights with these heroines. Combat is turn based. It's simple. Click, damage number, click, she's grappled. The whole point is losing means nothing and winning means you get to do whatever. And by whatever I mean specifically animated scenes where the male protagonist uses his victory to... well, deepthroat and choking tags are there for a reason. The internal view shots during oral are a nice touch if you're into seeing the anatomy of a bad decision. Cumshot at the end, classic.

The sandbox part is where it gets weird. You can poke around, build different robots. I spent way too long trying to minmax a bot with zero payoff because the real mechanic is just triggering the next story beat. The corruption? Barely there in this chapter. Feels like a promise for later chapters, a "trust me bro" from the dev. Multiple endings are mentioned but it's more like slight dialogue shifts before the same animated finish. The choking mechanic during the sex scene is animated decently, the 2DCG style is deliberately rough but somehow that adds to the whole "forbidden bootleg VHS" vibe. Wish the male domination wasn't so... straightforward? Like give me a dialogue wheel where I can be a smug bastard, not just a dick with a robot. Oh and the robot assembly? Pointless busywork to pad the sandbox tag. Still, that final scene with the big ass superheroine getting facefucked while her powers short out? That's the kind of spicier twist they promised.
