You know what this game is? It’s a photographer simulator where you jerk off to superheroes. That’s it. Three words: capes, cards, cumshots.
Michael Sharpe is a loser with a camera, classic. Anna Morgenstern, this ice queen in a pantsuit, recruits him to make her team of washed up heroes look good again. The whole setup is so stupid I love it. You click through dialogue, pick some card battles if you’re not a coward who disables them, and wait for the animated scenes. The card game part, by the way, is like someone described Hearthstone over a bad phone connection and then tried to rebuild it from memory. I turned it off after five minutes because I’m here for tits, not tactics.
The sex is where it gets weirdly specific. There’s this one scene with a heroine who can phase through walls, right? She uses her power during a blowjob. Her hand just. passes through. his stomach. I stared at that loop for way too long. It’s not hot, exactly, more like a medical anomaly, but I couldn’t look away. The animation is that stiff 3DCG where everyone’s skin looks like a rubber doll left in a hot car. I’m clicking through paragraphs of fictional news reports while my dick is literally in my hand. The multiple protagonists tag means you sometimes play as the female heroes, which is fine, but the writing for their internal monologues sounds like a man who’s only ever spoken to women through a drive thru speaker. Still, I finished it. The mystery about Michael’s “greater role” is so telegraphed you’ll guess it in the first chapter, but the slow corruption of the heroes has its moments. One of them, a flying brick type, has a masturbation scene where she’s floating upside down and I respect the physics engine for trying.
