Ok so the thing about Sins of Night is I keep forgetting it's supposed to be a game about being a vampire. Like yeah you get turned, there's blood and some graphic violence, but mostly I'm just running around this sandbox trying to figure out which milf I can corrupt next. The paranormal stuff is there I guess but honestly the real monster is my guy's inability to keep it in his pants.
The point and click setup is janky as hell, animations are pure 3dcg jank that sometimes looks like those old Poser renders from 2004. But weirdly it works? There's this one scene with the landlady character where you're just groping her in the hallway and the whole thing feels so awkward it circles back to being hot. The male domination path with her is chef's kiss, turning this uptight woman into someone begging for creampies. Then there's the whole incest route which I won't spoil but the corruption mechanics actually make sense there, you're literally using your vampire superpowers to twist people's minds. Or you can go the romance route which is surprisingly sweet for a game that also lets you visit prostitutes and use sex toys on random NPCs.
What bugs me though is the female domination stuff feels tacked on. You get these powers, you're supposed to be this predator, but then there's scenes where you're getting teased and edged and it's like... why? I'm the vampire here. The virgin route is funny though, watching this supposedly powerful creature fumble through his first vaginal sex scene like he's still the delivery boy from the intro. The handjob and masturbation scenes are whatever, standard fare, but the oral sex animations have this one angle that's actually. You know what I wish they'd fix the sandbox navigation, I spent twenty minutes clicking the same three buildings trying to trigger a quest and that's just bad design but it won't change so whatever. The teasing mechanic is underrated, building up tension before the anal scenes hits different when you've spent time corrupting a character instead of just jumping straight to it.
