This thing has been crawling around the internet for over a decade and it still feels like it was coded in a basement during a blackout. The sprites are janky, the menus look like a spreadsheet had a stroke, and the English translation reads like it was run through a blender then reassembled by someone who learned the language from old forum posts. I respect that. It's got a certain unwashed charm, like finding a sticky magazine in the woods.

The new version patches in seven scenes with the usual cast, Akira, Tomoko, Sana, and the rest. Kotomi's route got a rewrite that actually made me pause and wonder if the dev finally figured out how human conversation works, but then the next dialogue tree with Karin was so stiff it felt like negotiating a hostage situation. You pick choices, sometimes they matter, sometimes the game just shrugs and gives you a panty shot regardless. The RPG elements are barely there, just stat checks that feel like they were added because someone saw a real dating sim once and got jealous. You grind affection points like loose change.

What's weird is how the explicit stuff hits. The art is rough, anatomy occasionally defies physics in ways that would make a chiropractor weep, but there's this one scene with Tomoko where the awkward pixelated fumbling actually captures something realer than half the polished hentai slop out there. Then Sana's scene plays out and it's just tits with dialogue ripped from a shampoo commercial. I don't know. Maybe that's the point. Twelve years of updates and it still can't decide if it wants to be taken seriously or just wants you to get off and close the tab. The walkthrough help is apparently a string of numbers now, good luck with that.
