The loading screen is just a black void with a progress bar that stutters at 47% for like ten seconds. Already I'm thinking, okay, this is going to be one of those. And it is. Wendy and Chloe, right, they're in some dusty room with a dirt floor texture that looks like it was scanned from a moldy carpet sample. Tarak the militant leader is there, his beard is basically just a brown smudge glued to his chin. He wants a show before the main event, classic setup.
The lesbian scene between the girls is where the game puts all its, uh, effort. The animations are stiff but there's this one moment where Chloe's hand trembles on Wendy's hip and the sound design is just a wet looping squelch that doesn't match the motion at all. It's so jarring it loops back around to being hypnotic. I stared at it for way too long. The quest is just clicking through dialogue boxes with typos like "you will do this for me or die" and then you pick a position from a radial menu that looks like it was coded in a weekend. The blonde's hair clips through the brunette's shoulder constantly. I don't know why that bothered me more than the premise.
There's a point where you can make them kiss and the camera zooms in so abruptly it feels like a jump scare. The textures on their lips are weirdly high-res compared to everything else, like someone spent three days perfecting that one asset and then gave up on the rest. The happy ending path is just as nonsensical as you'd expect, involving a conveniently placed knife that wasn't there before. I think the game forgot to render its shadow. The whole thing runs in a browser window that kept freezing if I had Twitter open in another tab. I had to close Discord to get the climax to trigger properly. The dancer tag is barely there, there's a single idle sway animation that repeats. It's a mess. I'm still thinking about that squelch sound though.
