The snow effect in the background loops wrong. Noticed it immediately, the same three flakes repeating near the top left corner. Drove me crazy for like ten minutes before I even clicked on anyone. That's the kind of polish we're dealing with here, a Christmas visual novel where the holiday ambiance glitches out before you can get your dick wet.

But then you click on the redhead, the one with the absurd sweater barely containing her, and suddenly the cutscene direction makes a weird kind of sense. The way her eyes track slightly off center, like she's looking at your ear instead of your face. It's not good animation, don't get me wrong. It's stiff. But there's this moment where she leans forward and her tits just... settle. A single frame weight shift that someone actually thought about. The rest of the scene is static hentai stills with dialogue boxes, but that one motion lives in my head now.

The whole thing is a quickie, right, that's the series name. Pick a girl, see her Christmas Eve fantasy, nut, done. No complex branching, no real dating sim mechanics. The choices are basically "do you want the blowjob scene or the titfuck scene" dressed up in holiday wrapping paper. The writing is whatever, someone clearly learned English from porn captions and I respect that honestly. "Your candy cane is so big" made me laugh out loud, not in a mean way. The seduction is nonexistent because everyone's already DTF from frame one. What's the point of a visual novel about seduction if there's no chase? But then again, it's called Quickie, not Slow Burn Emotional Intimacy Simulator 2023. The catgirl character has a tail that clips through the couch. I don't know why I keep thinking about that tail.
