The psychology student angle sounded smart on paper but then you're three scenes in and some doctor with tits like beach balls is explaining your new job as a sexologist while her blouse buttons are fighting for their lives. Nothing Is Forever doesn't pretend to be subtle. It's a visual novel where every CG feels like it was drawn by someone who got paid per breast pixel.

The whole setup is that you fucked up your dream position somehow, inappropriate behavior and all that, so now you're rebuilding. But the regret mechanic, if you can call it that, mostly means picking dialogue options that sound like they came from a textbook you read once while horny. There's this one patient early on, a student, and the game expects you to read her emotional state like it's a puzzle. I clicked the "empathetic" response and suddenly she's showing me her tits. Psychology works fast here.

The writing has this weird rhythm where serious introspection about boundaries gets interrupted by a closeup of a pussy. Not complaining exactly. The doctor character has a scene where she adjusts her glasses and I swear the artist spent more time on the shine of her lips than the entire background. Backgrounds are basically afterthoughts. One hallway looks like a default Ren'Py asset with a poster that says "SEX HELP" in Comic Sans energy.

I did like the moment where you can choose to be a total creep and the game actually makes you feel gross about it. That's rare. Then two clicks later you're balls deep in a therapy session. The emotional whiplash is the point maybe. Or maybe I'm giving it too much credit.

The CG gallery fills up fast if you just pick the obvious horny options. Which I did. No shame. The psychology stuff is window dressing but occasionally the game remembers it exists and throws a personality test at you that actually changes which girl shows up later. That's neat. Then it forgets again for an hour.
