The Facebook message ping is what gets you. Not the game itself. That little blue notification sound, and suddenly you're 19 again, refreshing a browser tab, waiting for someone who's probably just bored. Elton. Fucking Elton. The game knows exactly what it's doing with that setup, the late night chat that goes nowhere and everywhere, the way you type something then delete it three times. I kept expecting a jump scare. There isn't one. Just... tension.
The car scene though. Parked outside his house. Who does that? The message is just sitting there on the passenger seat, and the whole thing feels like a Craigslist missed connection written by someone who's watched too much anime but never actually been touched. The dialogue is stilted in that specific way where you can tell the writer was translating thoughts from another language, and honestly? That makes it hotter. Real conversations aren't smooth. They're awkward pauses and "wyd" texts at weird hours. The ass fingering bit comes out of nowhere and I laughed, but not because it was funny. Because it was accurate. That moment when you're both pretending this is casual and then someone's hand is somewhere and neither of you acknowledges it with words.
The art is... there. It's fine. It's not the point. The point is the way Elton doesn't look at the screen sometimes, and you're left wondering if the artist meant that or if it's just unpolished. Probably both. The yaoi tag is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, but the game doesn't seem to care if you're into the genre or not. It's just two guys, a car, and the kind of silence that happens right before someone says "we shouldn't" and then does anyway. The sex scene is explicit but weirdly detached, like watching security footage of something you're not supposed to see. I think that's intentional? Maybe not. The game doesn't explain itself and I respect that.
I wish the text boxes were bigger. That's it. That's my complaint. The rest is just... a mood. A specific, uncomfortable, horny mood that reminds me of every bad decision I made between the ages of 18 and 24. Not a recommendation. Just a fact.
