I keep a folder of savefiles for games that don't have a proper save system, and this one's been sitting there for weeks now. The dystopian thing, feelings as a sickness, it's not exactly subtle. You're this guy who's decided to check out, and he writes a bucket list. Not the skydiving kind. The kind that starts with finding someone to touch you before the end.
The animations are rough. Like, really rough. 3DCG that sometimes looks like it was rendered on a phone from 2016, which makes sense since it's a mobile game. But there's this one scene, early on, where you meet a woman in what I think is supposed to be a clinic. She's checking you for "emotional contamination" or whatever, and her hand just... lingers. The handjob animation loops weirdly, her fingers clipping through your thigh for a solid three seconds before resetting. I laughed. Then I didn't.
What gets me is how the sandbox elements work. You wander this gray city, clicking on barely marked doors, and sometimes you find someone willing to break the rules with you. The oral sex scene with the nurse character, I've reloaded that one maybe six times trying to trigger different dialogue branches. She says something different each time, little fragments about how she used to believe in the cure, how she misses crying. The mouth movements don't sync at all. Her eyes are dead fish glass. But I keep coming back to it.
The male protagonist is this hollow shell of a person, which fits the setting but makes some interactions feel like you're puppeting a corpse. There's a moment where you can choose to kiss someone or just... leave. I picked leave once and the game just kept going, no dramatic music, no consequence. That felt more honest than any of the sex scenes.
For future players: exhaust every dialogue option before progressing. Some of the best writing is hidden behind what looks like filler conversation. And don't skip the bucket list updates, they change based on what you've done, sometimes in ways that made me put my phone down for a minute.
