My kid could probably figure out the puzzles in this thing, which is saying something because I watched him struggle with a shape sorter for twenty minutes yesterday. That's not a complaint exactly. Mr Pinku's little farm adventure is weirdly innocent for something that's supposedly an adult game. You wander around this pixel countryside as some blonde guy, clicking on things until something happens. A chicken crosses the road. A farmer says something suggestive but in that way where you're not totally sure if it's a joke or if the translation is just bad.

The whole thing feels like someone took a children's edutainment game from 1999 and then whispered dirty things over the soundtrack. There's this one scene with a girl behind a haystack that made me laugh out loud, not because it was hot but because the animation was so janky and the dialogue was like "oh no my dress it is stuck on this conveniently placed farm equipment." The humor lands more often than it misses, which surprised me. Most adult games try so hard to be serious and erotic that they forget to be fun. This one forgets to be erotic half the time and just tells stupid jokes instead. I respect that.

The white screen bug the developer mentioned in the notes, yeah that's still sort of there if you click too fast. Had to restart twice. The music button fix works though, so at least you can mute the same three banjo loops that will absolutely burrow into your skull. For a game that's basically a linear story disguised as exploration, it does that thing where you know exactly where to click but the game wants you to wander first. Like it's padding runtime by making you look at every single cabbage. The teasing aspect is more about wasting your time than building any real tension. Still, for what it is, a free browser thing that doesn't take itself seriously, it's fine. The Patreon episodes probably get weirder. I'm almost curious enough to check. Almost.
