I loaded up GWL3 Part 1 and the main menu is just Hayley in this massive oversized suit, doing a little shuffle. I stared at it way too long because the reference is so specific. You either get it or you don't, and honestly it doesn't matter because five minutes later she's getting railed in a locker room while still half in wrestling gear. That's the whole deal here.
The wrestling stuff is actually decent. Not kidding. There's this one match against a masked opponent where the loser has to, well, you know. The submission holds turn into something else real quick, and there's a moment with a folding chair that made me spit my drink. The bisexual tag isn't lying either. Hayley ends up in a three way with another wrestler and some guy from the audience, and the game just lets it happen. No big speech about it, no "exploring her sexuality" bullshit. Just bodies slapping together while someone's championship belt is still on the floor. The sex toys show up in a backstage segment that feels like it was written by someone who actually owns a vibrator, which is rare. The rough sex scenes have this janky charm where the animation loops don't quite sync up but somehow that makes it hotter. Like catching something you weren't supposed to see.
The UI is a mess though. I clicked through three menus trying to replay a scene and accidentally started a new game. Twice. And there's this one background character who keeps appearing in different locations with the same frozen expression, like he's following you. Nobody mentions him. Maybe he's a ghost. The dialogue has typos that made me laugh, like "your" instead of "you're" during a moment that's supposed to be serious. I don't think they'll fix it, and part of me hopes they don't. The spunk in her hair thing from the description? Yeah that happens. Multiple times. They really committed to that bit.
