So the whole game becomes this loop of trying to fill the page while every roommate and classmate offers to help with research. There is a moment early with a guy named Casey in the dorm showers. Steam everywhere, bad lighting, and the dialogue is so blunt. He basically says "you look tense, I can fix that." No romance, just a hand on the wall. The game does not pretend you are playing a normal visual novel.

The text boxes look like a rough draft. Fonts are basic, backgrounds are static photos of a college with filters, and the character art is this glossy yaoi style where everyone has abs you could grate cheese on. The writing is what keeps you clicking. Choices actually matter in weird ways. You can spend twenty minutes chatting up the quiet art student, then pick one wrong answer about his sketchbook and he just leaves. No warning. I once had Connor go to a party, drink too much, and wake up with a text from some guy whose name I never saw in a single scene before. That hooked me.

The relationship tag is misleading because most interactions are just sex with setup. A few routes have real backstory, like the dance major who has a whole thing about his strict dad. But the game knows why you are here. The "roleplay" only appears if you choose certain paths, and some are goofy. One option has Connor pretend to be a professor for a guy who failed a class. Terrible acting, great scene. The audio is mostly silence and a single looping guitar note. It drives me nuts after a while. But I keep replaying to see what scenes I missed because the branching is messy. Some endings straight up cut off mid sentence, like the game forgot to finish. Not polished at all. But the horny energy is real.
