The whole thing feels like someone swept the cutting room floor and dumped it on my lap. I'm not even mad, that's exactly what it says it is. A companion piece to Family, Friends and Strangers, full of scenes that didn't make the main story. You know how in some visual novels you hit a choice and wonder what the other path looked like? This is that, but collected in one messy, horny pile.
The redhead milf, god. Her model is the same one from the main game, that slightly plastic 3dcg look that somehow makes everything dirtier. There's this one scene where she's bent over a kitchen counter, and the lighting is all wrong, shadows clipping through her shoulder. I should hate it. But the way her expression just... blanks out when the protagonist finishes? I rewound that three times. The unpolished bits actually help sometimes. When the animation loops are too short and her hip movement gets that robotic stutter, it loops right into uncanny territory that somehow makes it hotter. Don't ask me to explain that math.
What bugs me though, and I know this won't change because it's literally the point of the project, is how disconnected everything is. You get a hot scene, then it just ends. Black screen. Next scene loads, completely different setup, no thread connecting them. As a kinetic novel there's no choices anyway, just clicking through dialogue that's sometimes placeholder-level rough. One line was literally "and then they did it" in the text box while the cg played. Made me laugh. But then the next scene had this surprisingly tender moment where she cups his face and whispers something actually well written, and I'm back in. The whiplash is real. I wish there was at least a gallery mode to jump to specific scenes instead of clicking through the whole chain every time.
