The turn based combat is... a choice. Look, I've played enough of these to know when someone's padding runtime, and nothing says padding like slapping a combat system onto what's basically a visual novel about your best friend's daughter moving in. The animations are smooth though, I'll give it that. Over 400 of them. And the renders, 2000 plus, which means someone actually put in the work instead of just recycling the same five poses.
But here's the thing. You're this professor, right? Quiet life, academia, probably tweed jackets or whatever. Then bam, supernatural conspiracy. Monster girls. Futa scenes that honestly caught me off guard the first time because I wasn't paying attention to the content warnings. There's a vanilla mode toggle that strips out the trans content and watersports and sharing scenarios, which is smart, but I left everything on because I'm not a coward. The pegging scene with the furry character. I won't spoil it but I had to put my phone down for a second. Not in a bad way. Just. Processing.
The male domination routes feel weirdly disconnected from the female domination ones, like two different writers were fighting over the keyboard. One minute you're getting a handjob from a monster girl with an ass that defies physics, next you're on the receiving end of something that made me question my life choices. The group sex scenes are animated well enough that I forgot I was playing on mobile during my lunch break and had to angle my screen away from the sun. And other people.
What gets me is how seriously it takes itself sometimes. The emotional beats between the comedy. There's this moment with the daughter character, nothing explicit, just dialogue, and I sat there thinking this shouldn't be hitting as hard as it does for a game where I just watched a futa scene five minutes prior. The voyeurism stuff is whatever, standard fare, but the writing underneath all the 3DCG jiggle physics has these flashes of something genuine. Then a big titty monster girl shows up and I remember what I'm actually playing. I wish the combat wasn't turn based. I wish a lot of things.
