I saved my progress right as the new roommate walked in, which in Extra Inches means I saved right before something ridiculous happened. The game has this thing where characters have "a little something extra" as the description says, and my brain still did a full reset when I saw it. Not complaining. I just wasn't ready.
The setup is basic visual novel stuff. You're the new guy, everyone's friendly, there's a lot of standing around talking in hallways and kitchens. The dialogue tries to be natural but sometimes it reads like someone translated it through three languages and back. One character told me they were "excited for the new beginnings we will share" and I laughed out loud. But then you get to the good parts and honestly I stopped caring about the writing quality. The oral scenes are where the game actually puts in work. There's this one scene with a character who has pink hair and glasses. The handjob buildup before the main event. I rewound that part like four times.
The thing I wish was different is the pacing. You'll be clicking through twenty screens of "hello how was your day" and then suddenly there's a dick in someone's mouth with zero warning. I mean, I'm not mad about it, but a little ramp up would be nice. The anal content is there too, though some scenes feel copy-pasted with different dialogue slapped on top. Same poses, same progression. Gets noticeable after the third character.
The futa and trap tags are accurate by the way. The game doesn't make a big deal about it, which I actually appreciated. It's just... there. Part of the world. The gay content is woven in naturally too, with the male protagonist being into whoever. There's this one gym scene I keep going back to. Something about the way the sweat was drawn on the sprites. Completely unnecessary detail but I noticed it and now I can't un-notice it.
Oh right I was talking about my save file. I'm parked right at the roommate introduction and I still haven't decided which route to push first. The big tits tag is doing a lot of heavy lifting in the preview images but the character with the short hair and the smirk is the one I'm actually curious about. We'll see if the game lets me be messy or if it forces me into one path. Knowing these kinds of visual novels, probably the latter.
