I keep thinking about that one scene in Parasite in City where the soldier gets cornered in the ventilation shaft. The way the camera just holds on her face while the tentacle slides up her thigh. This game has that same energy, that same grimy, low budget charm where the jank actually makes it hotter. The animations stutter like a gif from 2006 and honestly? That's the point. It feels like something you weren't supposed to find.

The soldier girls have these dead-eyed expressions that somehow make everything more intense. One minute they're holding rifles, the next they're bent over a console while a worm monster the size of a fire hose does things that would make H.R. Giger blush. The egg implantation mechanic is where it gets properly messed up. You see the bulge. You see it travel. And then the character model just... changes. Her belly swells. She keeps fighting but now she's carrying something. I don't know why that detail works so well but it does. Maybe it's the contrast between the military gear and the obvious pregnancy. Maybe I've been playing too many of these.

The sound design is basically nonexistent except for these wet squelching noises that loop badly. Sometimes they cut out mid animation and it's just silence while the tentacles keep moving. Creepier than any horror game I've played on Steam, I'll tell you that much. The monster designs are genuinely creative too, not just recolored phalluses. One of them has these little grasping tendrils around its mouth that twitch independently. The artist was definitely working through something.

Wish there was more variety in the soldier reactions though. After the third impregnation they kind of just reset to their default pose. And the final boss worm clips through the floor constantly. But you know what? The game where everything works perfectly is never the one I remember at 2 AM. It's always the broken ones. The ones where you can see the seams. Where the desperation of the creator leaks through every frame. This thing is a beautiful disaster and I mean that as the highest compliment.
