The TAB button. Yeah, that thing. In Dress My Babe 5 it's basically your cheat code to find all the hidden clickable nonsense scattered across the backgrounds, and honestly, the game doesn't even try to hide that it knows you'll use it. The whole thing has this weird, almost self aware jankiness. Like a parody of those old Newgrounds dress up games but with a pornographic end goal that feels both inevitable and completely unearned.
You start with this blank slate girl and a bunch of outfit pieces. Hair colors, tops, bottoms, the usual. But then you're supposed to hunt for "special bonus items" hidden in the background art. A tiny shimmer on a lamp, a weirdly colored pixel behind a curtain. Find enough of these and the game unlocks the "fuck her" option, which is exactly as mechanical as it sounds. The animations are stiff, the sounds are ripped from god knows where, and the whole thing has that Flash game compression where the moans sound like they're being played through a tin can. The customization is surprisingly deep though, for what it is. You can mix and match pieces from different sets in ways that clearly weren't intended, creating outfits that clip through each other in ways that are more interesting than the actual sex scenes.
The Extras menu gives you hints, but they're written in that broken English that makes you wonder if the whole thing is a deliberate shitpost or just genuinely unpolished. "Look for hidden objects in there" it says, like you're supposed to know which "there" it means. And the walkthrough link they provide, some goo.gl URL that probably died years ago, just adds to the feeling that you're playing an artifact. The parody tag makes sense when you realize the whole structure is mocking those mobile ad games where you "dress the princess" except here the princess has dead eyes and the reward is a looping animation of two polygons colliding. The "ensured" tag is a mystery though. Ensured what? That you'll find all the items? That she'll eventually take her clothes off? The game doesn't care if you figure it out or not.
