The investigation bits are clunky as hell. Click on desk, find a dusty letter. Click on chalkboard, get a spooky message. Whatever. But the scenes with her, the headmistress, they have this weird, grainy charm. There's a moment where she materializes behind you and the sound design, which is otherwise nonexistent, just pops with this wet, whispery breath. Made the hair on my arms stand up. And then her spectral hands are doing things that definitely weren't in the journalist code of conduct. The hentai scenes are unpolished, sure, but the way her form flickers between a stern older woman and something more... hungry. It works. It just works in a way a slicker game wouldn't.
