The sound of waves against the hull, that's what I remember first. Not the tits, though there are plenty. Just this low, constant rhythm while you're staring at the world map, trying to figure out where to sail next. The music in Booty Hunter has this lazy, almost drunk quality to it, like a sea shanty played on a broken music box. It shouldn't work but it does, especially when you're three loading screens deep and Nami's just standing there in the corner of the tavern, her chest doing that thing where the 3DCG models breathe a little too dramatically.
Spent way too long on the management side of things, honestly. You're supposed to be hunting bounties, building a crew, but I got stuck in this loop of just... watching. There's a scene with Nico Robin in the library, the camera just holds on her fingers tracing down the spine of a book, and the whole thing moves at this glacial pace that somehow makes it filthier than anything explicit. The corruption mechanics are there, you can see the meters filling, but the game never rushes you toward them. It's almost frustrating how slow the progression feels sometimes, like the game forgot it's supposed to be porn.
The ahegao faces though. When they finally hit, they hit. Tashigi's scene after you've been working on her for a while, her glasses fogged up, tongue out, that cross eyed expression the engine renders with this slight uncanny wobble. The animation loops aren't perfectly seamless, there's this tiny stutter at the end of each cycle that I wish they'd fix but probably won't. Boa Hancock's content is locked behind so much grinding I almost gave up, but then there's this moment with her sisters, Sandersonia and Marigold, where the pov shifts and suddenly you're looking up at them and the scale of everything just clicks. The harem elements pile up naturally, crew members appearing in your quarters without much explanation, which honestly feels right for a game about pirates. Nojiko's handjob scene has this one frame where her expression softens for just a second before the teasing resumes and I keep thinking about it. The fantasy of it all, not the One Piece parody specifically but the feeling of drifting from island to island collecting these broken, powerful women, it gets under your skin. Martha's corruption route goes places I didn't expect, darker than the rest, and the game doesn't really acknowledge the tonal shift which is either brilliant or lazy. Can't decide.
