You know what fucks me up about these AI CG games. The hands. Always the goddamn hands. In this one there's a scene where Avery, the girlfriend, is giving Ethan a handjob and her fingers look like melted candles. Three knuckles, maybe a fourth if you squint. The game doesn't care. It just keeps showing you these uncanny valley sex acts with a straight face.
Which almost works for the story they're telling. Ethan's a photographer, right. Supposed to be professional. But he's got this girlfriend who's getting big online and suddenly he can't stop thinking about other men looking at her. There's a party scene where Chloe, the roommate, is just... there. Watching. The game tags say voyeurism and exhibitionism but it's more sad than hot. Ethan taking pictures while Avery poses, the AI renders her with different bra sizes between shots. I spent probably too long noticing that. The whole thing feels like looking through someone else's phone gallery when you shouldn't be.
The exhibitionism stuff gets weird. Avery reads comments from her followers, these horny dudes saying what they'd do to her, and Ethan's supposed to be conflicted but the game just plows forward into the next handjob scene. No buildup. Just click and there's a dick. The photographer angle could have been something, using the camera as this barrier between what's real and what's performative, but nah. More melted candle hands. I did like Chloe though. She has this one expression during the voyeur scene that looks almost accusatory, like she's judging you through the screen. Probably just a rendering glitch but it stuck with me.
