The thing about Chaos00177’s little corner of the internet is that it doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. You boot up the Newgrounds page, hit the WASD, and suddenly you’re this mute wanderer who apparently solves problems with a sword in one hand and a half formed thought in the other. The menu, accessed via escape key like you’re fleeing from something, holds a skills tab where you dump stat points. Five at level one, then one per level. Why? Because numbers going up feels good, even when the character you’re upgrading seems to have the emotional range of a damp cloth. But we’re not here for the riveting dialogue about potion usage on the E key.
We’re here because Ahri and Xayah are fully, completely, unapologetically available now. The tease from earlier builds is gone, replaced by scenes that don’t bother with subtlety. You want to know if Sona, the so called mute mistress, actually has talents beyond standing there looking ethereal? Patrons got that answer, and it involves her mouth in ways that contradict her entire silent gimmick. It’s jarring, honestly. A character built on quiet mystery suddenly being the loudest one in the room, metaphorically speaking. The animation loops are rough, the hitboxes during combat feel like they were calibrated by a drunk squirrel, and the dash on shift has this weird delay that’ll get you clipped by an enemy you swore you dodged. I keep thinking about that dash timing. It’s like half a second off and it drives me insane.
The RPG skeleton is there, barely. Quests exist, you click things until they die, and then you click on the survivors in a different way. The fantasy setting is just window dressing for the xxx content, and that’s fine. I wish the stat upgrades actually changed how the adult interactions played out. Like, what if dexterity made things faster? That’ll never happen. The whole thing runs on a promise of getting better, which is a strange thing to bank your enjoyment on. You follow the creator, you maybe toss a coin on Patreon, and you wait for the next update where maybe the combat feels less like hitting piñatas and more like a game. Or maybe not. The jank is almost part of the charm at this point.
