Right, so I'm clicking through this DBZ thing, Super Saiyan Gohan's Big Day or whatever, and the first thing that hits me is the sound. I'm a sampler, right? I collect these clips for my own little projects. The wet, sloppy noise when he finally gets Android 18 bent over the kitchen counter, that's a solid 7 out of 10. Good squelch, a bit too much reverb like they recorded it in a bathroom. But the real crime? The moaning. It's the same three-second loop of a woman sighing, and it plays on a 45-second cycle. You'll hear it during a heartfelt chat with Videl, then again when Bulma's explaining some new gravity room, and then again, and again. It's like a dripping tap in the back of your skull. I started timing it. 45 seconds. Every time. Drove me absolutely mental.

The game itself is a sandbox, you just click around a map of West City and stuff happens. Gohan's all "I want to try new things," which apparently means systematically working through every female character with a pulse. The art is that flat 2D style, but the proportions are insane. Android 18's chest is a physics-defying monument. There's a scene where you're supposed to be training with her, and the animation is just her tits jiggling on a loop for two minutes while the dialogue box talks about ki control. I forgot what I was doing. I think I was supposed to be finding dragon balls? I ended up in a harem route by accident just by clicking on Chi-Chi's icon too many times. She gives you a quest to get milk. I'm not joking.

The writing is pure parody gold, though. Gohan uses his superpowers for the dumbest stuff, like using instant transmission to peek at Bulma in the shower. There's a whole anal sex scene with a character I won't spoil that's unlocked by, I kid you not, correctly answering a trivia question about the Cell Games. The game forgets it's an adventure halfway through and just becomes a menu of increasingly ridiculous sex acts. I wish the sound design had even a tenth of the creativity of the script. That looping moan is going to be in my nightmares, right next to the image of Master Roshi's face during a very graphic milf scene. I need to go scrub my hard drive.

Locked inside an ancient estate with your enigmatic aunt, the atmosphere thickens with unspoken desires and hidden intentions. The air grows heavy with anticipation as shadows stretch, hinting at pleasures lurking just beyond sight.

She reveals a collection of provocative toys, her eyes glinting with mischievous intent that sends shivers down your spine. Odd noises and fleeting shadows hint at paranormal forces mingling with your growing desire, twisting reality into something surreal. Masturbation becomes a shared secret, a dangerous dance of exhibitionism that pushes boundaries further than you dared imagine.

Just when you think you’ve unraveled the night’s mysteries, a sudden, monstrous revelation threatens to consume everything. Can you trust the seductive allure of your aunt, or is she part of a sinister game beyond your understanding?

The cum is what matters here. That's it, really. Libon is this elf city, right, and nobody's getting pregnant. A curse. So they find you, some guy, because your jizz is apparently magical enough to fix an entire demographic collapse. Meliara, the mage who fishes you out of whatever hole you were in, doesn't even pretend it's romance. She calls you a breeding guinea pig to your face. No flirting, just a clinical stare and a demand to get to work. And honestly, that bluntness is what kept me clicking. The game looks a bit rough around the edges, like someone colored it in with felt tips they found under the couch, but that's part of the weird charm. It's not trying to be a slick blockbuster.

The first time you actually get down to it with her, the whole ahegao thing hits. Her face just, like, melts. Tongue out, eyes rolling back. It's so over the top I snorted my drink. But then the creampie animation loops and you realize the whole point is just watching her belly get absolutely flooded with this supposedly miracle seed. There's a choice system that pops up, asking if you want to go again or pull out, and picking "go again" leads to this ridiculous back and forth where she's trying to maintain her cold elf mage dignity while her legs are shaking. The humor is completely accidental, I think, but it works. The milf character comes in later, some older elf with tits that defy physics and a waist that defies anatomy, and her handjob scene is so aggressively animated it feels like a parody. I spent way too long just staring at the weird shading on her ass during the dialogue. It's like they spent the entire art budget on the jiggle physics and forgot to draw a background.

Don't expect a deep dating sim. The romance tag is a lie, it's more like a transactional agreement with ahegao faces. But the fantasy setting is just enough to make the whole "repopulate the city" mission feel like a punchline you're in on. I kept waiting for a plot twist, some reveal that the curse was a hoax just to get your dick, but it never comes. And that's fine. It knows it's a monument to creampies and big, dumb elf tits. Top 3 Moments You'll Want to Screenshot: Meliara's first total brain-melt face, the moment the milf's handjob meter glitches out and her arm becomes a blur, and the exact frame where the cum physics go haywire and the mess ends up on the ceiling. Dare to play it alone, or invite company?

the thing about Past Tense is that it understands how a look can do more work than a sex scene. there's this moment early on where the milf neighbor, someone from the protagonist's childhood, just leans against the doorframe while he's unpacking boxes. she doesn't say anything wild, just small talk about how the neighborhood changed, but her posture is doing this whole other conversation. one hand on her hip, the fabric of her dress pulling just enough. you know exactly what's happening in her head because the 3dcg renders, as unpolished as they are, nail that specific tension. the slightly too-long pause before she laughs at her own joke. the way her eyes flick down and back up. i've stared at that render for an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure out if the dev meant for her wedding ring to catch the light like that or if it's just a happy accident with the lighting engine. probably both.

the protagonist is a virgin which in most games means a blank slate for the player to project onto but here it actually matters to the story. he's back in this old neighborhood after some vague failure, the kind you don't want to explain to people who knew you before. and the women, there are a few but it's not a harem thing, thank god, they all have their own shit going on. the milf character specifically, she's not just waiting around to fuck the younger guy. she's got this whole history with his family that the game drip feeds through these really uncomfortable conversations where you have to choose between digging deeper or letting it go. i picked the wrong dialogue option once and she just shut down completely. closed off. the romance path with her requires you to be patient in a way that feels almost cruel given how the renders keep framing her ass in those tight skirts. the game knows what it's doing.

the teasing is relentless but in this very grounded way. not the anime trope of accidental boob grabs. more like, she'll ask you to fix something under the sink and then stand right there, close enough that you can smell her perfume, and make some comment about how strong you've gotten. the big tits and big ass are rendered with this almost uncomfortable realism, like someone who actually looked at reference photos instead of just inflating sliders in daz3d. there's a scene where she's sitting on the couch and the way her thighs spread against the cushion, the weight of it, i don't know. it stuck with me. the romance path is slow but when it finally pays off, the explicit content hits different because you've been marinating in all this unspoken history. the past tense of the title isn't just grammar, it's the whole mood. everyone's haunted by versions of themselves that don't exist anymore. i wish the ui wasn't so clunky though. the text box covers the bottom third of some really good renders and there's no way to hide it completely. small thing but it bugs me every time.

The sharp scent of pine needles mixed with the faint trace of burning candles fills the chilly air, stirring a complex wave of nostalgia and unease. Each breath draws in the bittersweet memory of happier times tainted by shadows lurking just beneath the surface.

Moonlight casts long, trembling shadows across the snow-dusted streets, illuminating the stark contrast between festive decorations and the silent dread that clings to every corner. Frost clings to bare branches like fragile glass sculptures, shimmering as if trying to hold onto fleeting moments of innocence before they shatter.

Fingers brush over cold metal, the rough texture grounding you as your pulse quickens with a mix of anticipation and caution. The warmth of a tender touch contrasts sharply with the biting chill outside, heightening every sensation until desire and danger intertwine. Every subtle movement, every whispered promise, draws you deeper into a tangled web of passion and peril where trust is scarce and temptation abundant.

Unravel the dark truths hidden beneath the festive facade, where every encounter could lead to salvation or ruin. Let your instincts guide you through a world where love and lust collide amidst the cold embrace of winter’s night.

The voyeur mechanic is what sticks with me, that constant presence watching from somewhere in the hotel. Not a character exactly, more like a voice that comments when you fumble a choice or push Sara too fast. It feels like the game itself is judging your horny decisions, which is honestly refreshing for a VN where you can eventually get your dick sucked in a stormbound hotel room.

Sara shows up wet from rain, big tits obvious under her clothes, and the host thing means you're serving her drinks while trying to read if she wants more. The 3DCG models have that slightly stiff quality, like they were posed carefully but nobody bothered smoothing the transitions between expressions. Her face shifts from polite guest to something hungrier and the animation doesn't quite sell it. But the teasing works. There's this moment with a footjob under the table that I kept thinking about later, how the scene builds from her removing heels to pressing against you while the watcher makes some snide comment about your technique. The oral sex scenes are explicit without being mechanical, which is rare. She actually seems present.

Missy arrives in the second episode and the dynamic shifts. More exhibitionism, more sex toys appearing from nowhere, and the hotel itself starts feeling like a character with rules you don't understand. The vaginal sex scenes are rendered with attention to detail that the facial expressions lack. I wish the writing didn't sometimes explain what I could already see happening on screen. Like yes, I know her boobs are big, the model is right there. The romance path feels undercooked compared to just being direct about what you want, which might be intentional given the whole trapped by a deal premise. The host role means you're always performing hospitality while trying to get laid, and that tension carries the game further than the actual plot does.

The first time the acolyte drops to his knees in the temple, I actually laughed. Not because it's funny. Because the sprite work is so deliberately rough, like someone drew it on a napkin during a boring sermon, and yet the tension is thick enough to choke on. This village hidden in mountains, this young man sent to "serve the gods," and you already know what that means before the first dialogue box appears. It means bara bodies with shoulders like boulders and thighs that could crush watermelons. It means mythological beings who haven't had company in centuries and aren't about to waste time on small talk.

The romance paths twist in ways I didn't expect. One god wants devotion, another wants degradation, and there's this moment with the forest deity where the acolyte is bent over an altar and the text describes the exact sound of stone grinding against skin and I had to close my browser for a second. Not because it was too much. Because I realized I was holding my breath. The writing does that thing where it's clumsy and then suddenly precise, like a drunk who nails a cartwheel. You'll be reading some awkward exposition about "strengthening bonds" and then bam, a line about sweat pooling in the small of a back that hits harder than anything in a polished AAA title.

The UI is a disaster. Buttons overlap sometimes. The font choices are crimes against design. I don't care. There's a scene with the storm god that made me forget I was clicking through static images. The sound design is basically nonexistent so I put on some lo-fi beats from my Spotify "divine intervention" playlist and honestly? Perfect. This game understands that the gap between what's shown and what's imagined is where the real heat lives. The acolyte's face barely changes expression but somehow you know exactly what he's feeling when the war god grips his jaw. That's not skill, that's some kind of accident that works anyway.
