Velvet - v1.8
The cursor blinks at me from the search bar. "Lena began working at the library three weeks ago." That's where the game picks up, which is already a strange choice, skipping the first day jitters and dropping you into this established rhythm of dust and quiet. Lena herself is like a sketch someone forgot to finish, deliberately I think, because the AI art that makes up her expressions keeps slipping between almost photorealistic and that weird smoothness where you can't tell if she's 22 or 35. It's jarring but effective, like when you're scrolling through old photos on your phone and the faces start to blur together.
The library itself though. Christ. There's a scene maybe an hour in where Lena finds a restricted section, and the text describes "the smell of old leather and something else, something sweet." You have to choose whether to touch the books or just look, and I sat there for five minutes deciding. Not because the choice matters that much, the branching is actually pretty linear despite what the description claims, but because the writing makes everything feel loaded. A librarian named Miriam keeps appearing, and her dialogue alternates between completely normal small talk and these non sequiturs that made me put down my vape and reread them. "The books choose who reads them, Lena. You understand that, don't you?" Girl what does that even mean. I still don't know.
The adult content is sparse, which is going to piss off people who clicked for the "erotic" tag. When it does arrive, it's more about Lena touching herself while reading forbidden texts, the prose getting all fragmented and breathless. The ghost presence, the unseen guide, it speaks in second person and the things it says are genuinely unsettling in a way that reminds me of that one creepy pasta about the stairs in the woods. You know the one. The game's clearly made with some AI generation tool, you can tell from the way certain descriptions loop back on themselves, but there's this moment where Lena looks at her reflection and the text just says "she was not alone in the glass" and I closed the browser tab. Then reopened it. Because that's the thing about this kind of slow burn psychological stuff, it gets under your skin precisely because of the rough edges, not despite them. Miriam's subplot just kind of stops existing in the third act though, which is annoying as hell.

ka lei do scope v0.01
So the dog just shows up. No explanation. You come home and there's this thing on your couch, some shaggy mystery breed that smells like lavender and stares at you like it knows every shitty thing you've ever done. And the game never tells you why. Never even hints. That's the kind of thing that makes me keep clicking through this mess.
The whole setup is ridiculous. Guy named Sora runs away from his hometown because of some heavy past, gets dragged back when his sister gets hurt, and suddenly he's teaching at an all girls academy. Thirteen students. All of them want him. It's the most contrived harem bullshit and I was ready to hate it. But then you're walking through the halls looking for the one male bathroom and the screen does this thing where the text crawls slower than normal, like the game itself is reluctant to let you read it. And there's this girl in the library who won't look at you directly but her dialogue options are all wrong, all slightly threatening in ways that don't match her sprite's soft expression.
The psychological horror tag is doing a lot of work here. It's not jumpscares. It's the way conversations loop back to things you didn't say. The way the sky in the background art sometimes looks too bright, like a photo overexposed on purpose. I spent twenty minutes in one scene just clicking through the same dialogue tree because the choices kept rearranging themselves. Maybe a bug. Maybe not.
The sex scenes are fine. Standard visual novel stuff, decent CGs, the usual positions. But they feel weirdly sad. Like everyone's going through motions they don't understand. One of the girls cries after and the text just says "she smiled" and moves on. No acknowledgment. That stuck with me more than any of the actual erotic content.
I keep thinking about the parasite thing from the description. It's not a monster. It's memory. The way the past just latches on and you can't shake it. This game gets that. It's messy and unfinished and half the routes probably don't even work right but I can't stop thinking about that fucking dog.

Aeonβs Echo
Collect prizes and items in the mail with each battle won, as they will help you evolve your educated fighters. The longer you evolve your warriors, the more their corporal appearance switches. And with "switches", we suggest "that they become supah unsheathing, taunting you endlessly". And, if you can not escape from this headspace these hot hot visuals have pushed one into, the game does include a useful "auto" mode which can perform the top moves, and that means it's possible to keep concentrating on your most recent win - or even, you knowthat anything is holding your focus.
Play with the #1 greatest sex game on earth. Exactly why wait around? It really is free-for-all!

Raguul v0.2
Rating: and a half eaten planet
That half eaten planet means something. Trust me. Razuul wakes up from a nap that lasted centuries, right? And this girl Faja is just... there. On his planet. His actual body is the planet. She's stomping around with her attitude and her little mission to kill a god. The opening scene sets expectations perfectly because you're this cosmic entity and she's a speck, but the dialogue makes her feel bigger than you. Cocky little shit. I wanted to swallow her immediately. And you can. That's not a metaphor.
The corruption mechanics are where things get sticky. Not literally, unless you pick the slime path. Then very literally. You can play mind games, pretend to be nice, let her think she's winning. There's this moment where you choose between licking her or just... observing. I picked lick. Obviously. The text gets weirdly poetic about it, describing taste and texture while she's squirming. The giantess stuff isn't just size difference porn, it's about power. Real power. The kind where you could crush her but you don't. Not yet. The feet thing shows up unexpectedly and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Actually I know exactly how I feel about it.
Wish there was more snake vore. The snake path is there but it's like a side dish when I wanted a main course. The slime vore though? Chef's kiss. Or whatever sound slime makes. The ryona elements are light, more about struggle than damage, which fits the no gore promise. Faja's arrogance cracks in different ways depending on your choices and watching that happen is better than any hardcore scene could be. The psychological horror tag is earned. Not because it's scary. Because you start enjoying being a god a little too much. The game knows this. It's watching you. Probably.
