Fucking Menma. Of all the characters to center a porn parody around, they pick the filler arc edgelord. And somehow it works, which pisses me off more than the broken battle system where the hitboxes feel like they were drawn by a drunk monkey with a crayon. You click to punch and Menma just stands there like a lemon while Sakura's model clips through a tree. I spent twenty minutes trying to get the combat to not feel like wading through cold porridge before I realized the real game is just clicking through dialogue to get to the scenes.

The groping mechanics are where this thing actually remembers it's supposed to be adult content. You get these weird little minigames where you're supposed to, I don't know, build up tension or something by touching Ino while she pretends to be annoyed. The animation loops are janky as hell, her expression flickers between "mildly inconvenienced" and "surprised Pikachu face" with no in-between, but the 3D models have this uncanny smoothness to them that makes the whole thing feel like a fever dream. Hinata's scenes are the most developed, which tracks because of course the shy one gets the most attention from the devs. There's this one moment where she does the finger poke thing but it's completely sexualized and I laughed so hard I nearly choked on my drink.

The visual novel parts read like they were translated through three different languages and then back to English by someone who learned the language exclusively from old forum posts. "You will now the darkness of Menma's heart to understand" is an actual line I screenshotted. The choices supposedly matter but I picked the "darkness" path and still ended up getting the same Sakura teasing scene as the "friendship" route, just with slightly different dialogue about how Menma's eyes look "more dangerous" or whatever. Classic illusion of choice bullshit. The Naruto parody aspect is barely there beyond the character models, which honestly look decent for what I'm assuming is a one-person project made in a basement somewhere. Ino's design in particular has this weird attention to detail on her hair that the rest of the game doesn't deserve.
