So Gremory Live, right? Or whatever it's called now. Booted it up and immediately got that weird Unity player stutter, you know the one where the first loading screen hangs for like fifteen seconds and you're already reaching for the task manager. Then bam, Rias is there. The art is that specific 2dcg style, clean but kinda flat, like someone traced over a really good doujin and forgot to add the shading layers. Not complaining, it works for what it is.

The whole thing is a point and click harem collector. You click on Akeno, she says something about ara ara, you get a scene. Standard stuff. But here's the thing, the hitboxes are drunk. I spent a solid minute trying to click on Koneko's head and ended up triggering a dialogue loop with Xenovia about a sword. A sword. In a bedroom scene. The logic is just gone. Then you finally get to the good part with Grayfia and the animation is just a two frame boob jiggle on repeat. I've seen flash games from 2005 with more frames. The anal tag is there, technically, if you squint and use the right item from the inventory that the tutorial never explains. Found a bug where Kuroka's tail just detached and floated off screen during her scene. Honestly, it added to the experience. Wish there was a patch that just made every character's clothes explode off with a single click instead of this pixel hunting nonsense. The Momo Hanakai scene is locked behind some obscure affection meter you can't even see. Why? Just let me be a degenerate in peace. The sound design is just one wet slap track on loop, and sometimes it desyncs so you get the moan three seconds after the visual. Pure art.

Gameplay is clicking through dialogue and occasionally picking a choice that leads to sex or slightly different sex. It's not deep. The humor lands sometimes, like Miki Hyoudou being the ultimate cockblock even in digital form. Wish there was more with Kalawarna though, she's barely there and then gone. Tomoe Meguri shows up for one lesbian scene that's animated pretty smoothly and then the game forgets she exists. Typical. The sex toys make an appearance in a scene with Akeno that I won't describe because some things you need to see yourself. Male protagonist is generic as hell but that's almost the point, he's just a vessel for the player to get dominated by monster girls and devil ladies.
