It is kind of crazy how many people are obsessed with this cartoon. I never watched the full thing, only clips on YouTube when the algorithm forces me to, but I get the appeal I guess. The designs are very sharp. And that translates well into Hazbin Hotel Porn Games because the colors are all red and pink and black. It looks good on a screen even if your internet is slow and the game is loading pixel by pixel. I hate when that happens. You are waiting for a scene to load and it stops right at the neck and you just sit there staring at a floating head for two minutes. My internet is trash lately. But these games usually run okay because they aren't like huge 3D engines or anything. Most are just Flash style, or HTML5 I guess is the word now. Flash is dead. RIP Flash. I miss those old games sometimes. But the new ones are smoother. I played one recently where you manage the hotel but instead of cleaning rooms, you have to assign different demons to different... tasks. You know what I mean. It was actually kind of hard. I kept losing money because I put the wrong demons together and they started fighting instead of doing the other thing. I went bankrupt in like three days. It was embarrassing.
The thing about the characters is that they are all so skinny. Like stick figures almost. It is a specific style. Some of the artists for the games try to make them thicker and it looks so wrong. Charlie with giant boobs just doesn't look like Charlie, it looks like a cosplayer who bought a cheap wig. But people seem to like it. The most popular games in the Hazbin Hotel Porn Games category are always the ones with the most exaggerated proportions. I don't get it. Why change the design if you like the character? But whatever. I am just here to play, not to judge the art direction too much. Except for the hands. Why can nobody draw hands? Even in the official show the hands are weird, but in the fan games, they look like spiders. It freaks me out. I was playing this one scene that was supposed to be really hot, totally focused on the action, and then I saw the hand on the shoulder and it had like seven fingers and they were all broken. Ruined the whole mood. I closed the tab immediately. I can't deal with bad hands. It is my one rule.
Also, I feel like Niffty gets ignored a lot. She is the little one with one eye. She is cute in a weird way but there are barely any games for her. It is always the tall ones. Maybe people don't like the one eye thing. It is a bit scary if you stare at it. But still, give the side characters some love. I played one game where she was just cleaning in the background the whole time, looping the same animation over and over while the main characters were busy. It was hypnotic. I found myself watching her instead of the main scene. She just kept scrubbing that same spot on the floor forever. Poor girl. The games are usually pretty short though. You can finish most of them in like twenty minutes if you read fast. Or five minutes if you don't read at all and just skip to the gallery. I know a lot of people just skip. The buttons for "skip" are always the most clicked buttons. It is a shame because sometimes the jokes are funny. Rude, but funny. I laughed at one joke about radio static last time but I forgot what it was exactly. It wasn't that memorable I guess. Just typical demon humor.
