There’s a cake. I don’t know why there’s a cake. At one point you’re talking about frosting, and I think it’s supposed to be erotic but it just made me want actual cake, which I didn’t have. The pickup mechanics are basically non-existent, just a series of binary choices that lead to the same blurry payoff. I found myself clicking through, not even reading the text after a while, just chasing the dopamine hit of a new jpeg. And then I got it, and it was... fine? The explicit content is there, don’t get me wrong, but it’s framed in this weirdly sterile way, like a medical diagram with a come-hither stare.

I think what bothers me most, and I’m still thinking about this, is the sound design. Or lack of it.
