Something about the way the brunette with the messy ponytail keeps glancing at the campfire. Not at the flames. At the guy across from her. You know that look. The one that says the tent zipper is about to get a real workout. This game. This fucking game. It’s janky in that specific way where the dialogue reads like someone ran it through a translator from horny to English and back again. But that’s not a complaint. Honestly the roughness makes it better? Like finding a dirty magazine in the woods. Feels more authentic to the whole “weekend in nature” setup.

The setting is this forest clearing where a bunch of hot guys and girls show up supposedly to relax. Sure. Relax. That’s what we call it now. The character art is all over the place. One dude looks like a fitness influencer, another like he wandered in from a different game entirely. And the sun glints off the lake water in a way that makes no physical sense. Spent way too long staring at that water. Not because of the glitch. Because two characters were behind a bush making sounds that definitely weren’t bird calls. Which reminds me. The sound design. There’s this one cricket loop. Just one. It will haunt my dreams. Chirp. Chirp. Chirp. Then a woman’s sharp gasp cuts through. Then back to chirping. Masterful. Better than any ASMR I’ve tried on that weird app, the one with the whispering. Forget the name.

The whole orgy progression feels almost accidental. Like one minute people are roasting marshmallows, the next someone’s hand is somewhere in a sleeping bag and nobody questions the camera angle. There’s a lot of solo play too. Self discovery by the riverbank. Very nature documentary. The masturbation scenes are surprisingly detailed for something so unpolished. The way a character’s breathing changes when they think they’re alone. Then another camper walks by. The tension is stupid thick. But then the next scene loads weird and the guy’s face is frozen in a grin that’s more terrifying than sexy. Jump scare. In a porn game. Didn’t expect that.

Was the therapist angle. Their desires. They all just want to be seen. Literally. Seen fucking. The camping is just an excuse. We’re the voyeur. The game knows it.

The CG gallery unlocks in a weird order. I still don't understand why the third scene appears before the second one, but whatever. Lust Storm is one of those visual novels where you can practically smell the wet clothes and pine needles. Two girlfriends, a storm, a cabin, and this guy who's supposedly studying for exams. Sure. The voice acting caught me off guard because the nervous one actually sounds nervous, not like someone reading lines in a booth while scrolling Twitter.

The setup is so specific it wraps back around to being relatable. Lost on a road trip, desperate for shelter, and then there's this virgin college student alone in his family's forest house. The tension between the girls is the real engine here. Sometimes they're playful, sometimes it gets sharp, and the guy is just... there. Trying to process what's happening. There's a moment when one of the girls "accidentally" brushes against him while reaching for a blanket and the internal monologue is pure panic. I laughed. Then I didn't.

The art does this thing where the breasts seem to defy physics in exactly the way you want them to. Big, soft, always somehow the focal point even when the scene is supposed to be about something else. The camping aesthetic is just an excuse for tight shorts and wet t-shirts, which, respect. The CGs are the main draw and they don't disappoint, though I wish the cabin had more than like three backgrounds. The storm outside becomes this metaphor for the escalating situations inside, and nobody can leave, and the student's inexperience becomes less of a barrier and more of a... catalyst? Is that the word? The romantic bits feel genuine in a way that surprised me, buried under all the obvious setup.

One of the girls has this laugh that plays during a scene and it looped three times before I realized it was a bug. Didn't even care.
